Low-power, low-cost WorldDMB Profile 1 digital radio tuner module optimised for iPhone/iPod Docking products with DAB/DAB+/DMB-Radio and FM tuner module

The Verona FS2052i module is the latest in a new generation of digital audio products which feature iPhone/iPod docking and also use the new DAB/DAB+/DMB-Radio optimised Kino 3 baseband chip. Verona 2i is ideal for WorldDMB Profile 1 receivers, providing superior signal reception at low power and at a price point suitable for entry level products. Verona 2i is designed for worldwide applications to enable production of high-performance dual-band DAB/DAB+/DMB-Radio/FM receivers at low cost with the iPhone/iPod docking and extra large, easy-to-read screen support. Verona 2i operates in master mode, removing the need for any additional host processor, and includes an optional USB device interface for firmware updates. It also includes the ability to control an EQ chip in the Venus 2i reference design via the latest full functioning audio software.

The module provides all interfaces necessary for a fully functional radio, needing only power supply, display, keypad, audio amplifier, EQ chip, iPod connector and speakers to complete a product.
